CAUTION SIGNS

A Caution sign is a type of sign which indicates a potential hazard, obstacle or condition requiring special attention. Some are traffic signs that indicate hazards on roads that may not be readily apparent to a driver. Caution signs are a type of hazard sign used to warn about possible hazards or unsafe practices, according to OSHA. Caution signs indicate a level of severity less serious than warning signs or danger signs, but they still convey the message that if a hazardous situation isn’t avoided, it could result in minor or moderate injury. The color associated with caution signs in yellow, and these signs use bold, recognizable text that says “CAUTION” as their headers. Caution signs can pertain to almost any type of workplace hazard, as long as the seriousness of that hazard meets the criteria for a caution sign.
