DANGER SIGNS

A Danger sign is a type of sign which indicates a potential hazard, obstacle or condition requiring special attention. Some are traffic signs that indicate hazards on roads that may not be readily apparent to a driver. Danger signs are a type of hazard sign used to warn about possible hazards or unsafe practices, according to OSHA. Danger signs indicate a level of severity less serious than warning signs or danger signs, but they still convey the message that if a hazardous situation isn’t avoided, it could result in minor or moderate injury. The color associated with danger signs in red or strong colors, and these signs use bold, recognizable text that says “DANGER” as their headers. Danger signs can pertain to almost any type of workplace hazard, as long as the seriousness of that hazard meets the criteria for a danger sign.
